The process we take in the Confirmation of our Christian Faith is one of the most important aspects in the life of a Christian. Following Baptism, Confirmation marks a special public milestone in our journey to eternity. Keeping this in mind, our goals in Confirmation seek to equip each youth to be more fully committed to being lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ by...

G. Giving students a strong foundation in the truths we confess.
R. Resourcing students to build living relationships.
A. Actively pursuing opportunities to grow together in faith and service.
C. Cultivating relationships with youth beyond our campus.
E. Educating students how to defend their faith in an increasingly hostile world.

CALENDAR & Important Dates:

A. Confirmation classes are held on Sunday mornings, from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. View and study the curriculum online here:

B. Classes begin promptly at 9:45 a.m. in Room 13

C. Acolyte Training for all first-year students is offered in the fall of each year. This is essential for participation and scheduling. Check the Chapel Weekly for exact times. The Acolyte's Handbook is our resource.

D. Confirmation Orientation is usually on or near the fourth Sunday in August each year after the late service. All students should attend with at least one parent or guardian--or make personal arrangements for a private Orientation.

E. Sermon Notes are an important part of our ongoing training. Each year, students complete a minimum of 20 reports for a total of 40 in two years. Sermon Notes are located in the back of church. Students should return a carefully completed worksheet with their parent's signature each week in the Confirmation Mailbox. Click here to view/print the sermon notes report (to submit completed report, please scan or take a picture and email it to Bill Rusnak).
